Backup PS Games
PS3 External Hard Drive?
If i were to buy an external hard drive for my ps3 would i be able to save game, movies, music on the hard drive and play them off there too? or is it stricly a backup sorce where i would have to copy it back to the ps3 to use "said" file? i know it would be better to just buy a bigger internal but transfering the data would be a pain and this would just be easier. ok you guys dont get it. CAN YOU PLAY GAMES STRAIT FROM THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE?

- You get to save to save pictures, games, movies, and music and you can play it right off your hard drive and if you wan to copy onto the new hard drive just save everything on a memory card form the old hard drive and put the new memory card onto the new hard drive and its really easy.
- Yes you can with an USB external hard drive with an plug in power source. Because the PS3 does not have enough power supply to run the external hard drive.
