Backup PS Games

Should I buy an Xbox 360 or a PS3?

Am I right in saying that these two systems are of similar power? Xbox 360 is much cheaper and you can play backup games - surely no contest...or is it!?

1. you should get a ps3 i know therye alot of money but u get great graphics on them and you get free online on them good luck chosing
2. Go out and buy yourself a xbox360. PS3 may have better graphics than 360, but not by much. Xbox 360 has better games, and better online play even though you have to pay for it, its got less lag than PS3 . Trust me it's the right choice.

I own all 3 7th generation consoles, 1) if you got a PSP and 1 super sexy Bravia TV than get the PS3 cause you will not get off your sit. 2) The problem with the PS3 is the controller which is the SIXAXIS it totally suck big time it suffer from conflicts with other blue-tooth device especially your handphone. 3) It has a HOME Network which is like SIMS that lets you make friends and party up with people for a game. 4) It's has Blu-Ray which is the best video format right now in the market. 6) you can change the size of the HDD to whatever size you want. 5)The X-Box 360 has sold way more than the PS3 obviously cause it was the first 7th generation to be in the market causing it to be on the lead of the other 2. 6) It has approx. 10 million over people playing it online. 7) It has one of the world best game Halo 3 which sold 8 million copies setting a world record and having 1.3 million playing it online every week. 8) It has HD capability for both the white (separate HD converter, not 3rd party product) and black version (HD ready). 9) If you loved GOW you should get the 360 cause GOW 2 is coming out soon. 10) Games are way cheaper then the PS3 ones. *Note most exclusive PS3 games are making their way to the 360 due to companies untrusting SONY for their format.*
5. Ya they both do have similar power, i have both and out of the two i play my 360 the most. Ya the ps3 might have free online service and bigger harddrive, but i bearly use half of a 20gig 360 harddrive, and the online is better on the 360 even tho you have to pay for it. If i was you and was buying either one i would say the 360, as much as i pains me to say it cause ive always been a sony person but i admit the 360 is better

7. I think if you value gerrring a really cheap blu-ray player with awesome gaming capabilities (blu ray players being 5000 and beyond aus dollars) (ps3 being 600 - 1000aus) then yeah ps3 otherwise stick with xbox 360
8. i own both and i use PS3 more.. with its built in wireless internet i surf the web from my bed ...cant on 360. its free online gaming is the clincher for me also has blu ray player & ps3 HOME as mentioned earlier its worth the price

10. i bought the 360 and i love it but a friend of mine got the ps3 adn he likes it other than the fact that when it crashed on him he lost all of the games that were saved on it so i would go with the xbox360
11. 360 360 360 360 The xbox is pretty much the same as the PS3 of course there are a couple of advantages and disadvantages to each but seeing as 360 is cheaper I'd go with the XBOX360 all the way.
