how to backup files for ps3?
ok....i wanna format the ps3 because i wanna install YDL on it, but i already have A LOT of game files on the ps3....if i format it, it will disappear. How do i back up thos files/???

- You can store back up files on a USB flash drive. But it will have to be a good memory. Or you could buy another hardrive.
- you know funny story is i want to do the same thing but i have the same problem!yes if you format your hard rive you will lose all game saves and i do believe setting will go also.i tried saving my hard rive to a DVD-r but it didn't work...your best bet is to get a usb flash drive,compact flash card,memory stick,or a SD memory card and save it to one of those,install YDL and restore your data off whatever storage device you use.bam! :D
