Backup PS Games
What PS3 game is a good starting game?
I'm soon to get a PS3 and I can't decide on a game. I want Restistance but alot of Gamestops don't have it so I want a backup game if I can't find it. I would prefer a suggestion of a game with internet but I'm open to anything.

- hmmm depends on how old u are personally i have ratchet and clank fun for all ages big guns and everything resistance i dont recoment it call of duty 4 is a cool game 2 but what ever ur choice is it good i personally would pick ratchet and clank tools of destruction

- i got assassins creed on friday and nba 2k8 yesterday so it depends if u want single player or multiplayer games
- Call of Duty 4 is definitely the best fps game out there currently. The online is awesome (except for a few things that they are fixing in an update soon). Definitely the most fun online game for the PS3. Personally, I didn't really like Resistance. It's good for one play through (especially the co-op), but multiplayer felt unbalanced (for example the aliens can't duck..wtf) and was just run and gun. It's all a matter of opinion though.
- Must have games are... Ratchet & Clank Uncharted: Drakes Fortune Motor Storm Resistance: Fall Of Man Call Of Duty 4 Assassin's Creed LEGO Star Wars (If your a fan) Any one of these and your set for a goood time.
- motorstorm---i baught an 80 gig that came with it . i had never heard of this game until i got it but it ended up being one of my favs i also really like call of duty 4 and need for speed pro street
- Resistance is the best game released for PS3 so far. It's a great game to start your collection, but the sequel will be out next year so you might want to wait seeing as how the price will drop dramatically at that point. I just picked up The Orange Box. It has 5 games in one. The classic Half-life 2 games, Portal (an awesome puzzle game), and Team Fortress 2 (a great multiplayer game). I'd recommend Orange Box first, then R:FOM.
